Matias Chaves

Matias is part of the labor practice team and telecommunications practice team of FERRERE.

His practice focuses on daily counseling for local and international companies: elaborating and implementing work and civil contracts in the branch of provision of services, works and related, labor audit of companies, topics related to human resources of companies and management of personnel, negotiation and elaboration of agreements with workers, and due diligence to international firms interested in acquiring local companies; acquisition of telecommunications services licenses; homologation of telecommunications equipment; and, daily advice on telecommunications regulatory issues.

In practice, he participates in the advice to numerous and important firms operating in the Paraguayan market, among national and multinational companies that operate in various sectors such as: industrial, shipping, technology, telecommunications, agriculture, call centers, companies dedicated to representation, distribution and sales, banking entities, among others.

Matias is a lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Asunción and a certified Public Translator of English and Spanish. He has an important academic career: he has a diploma from Harvard University on International Politics, and diplomas from George Washington University on Electoral Campaign Management. In 2018 he was selected for a scholarship program from the State of Israel, where he participated in the course "Youth Leadership", of the International Institute for Leadership - Histradut.
