Her practice focuses on corporate and regulatory advice, with special emphasis on Central Bank of Uruguay rules, the financial system, capital market and fiduciary structures.
She regularly advises local and international financial institutions, multilateral organizations and companies on highly complex banking, regulatory and financial transactions, including structuring and issuance of financial instruments, where she combines rigorous legal analysis with a practical, solution-finding approach.
She has also advised leading companies in diverse sectors, including agribusiness, real estate, technology, industry and financial services, on local operations as well as highly complex cross-border transactions, particularly those with relevant financial and regulatory components.
She leads advice to EF Asset Management AFISA, the country’s most important private fund administrator, on its activities as financial trustee and investment fund administrator, consolidating her experience as an authority on trust and investment fund regulation.
In the academic sphere, she was an instructor in Commercial Law I and II at the Law School of Universidad de la República (Uruguay) from 2018 to 2021.
Since 2022 she has been a professor for the “Legal and Tax Framework” module in the Executive Program in Financial Investments at Universidad ORT (Uruguay).
Among her community activities, she is a member of the FERRERE pro bono team that provides legal advice to persons released from the penitentiary system, in coordination with the National Office for Support to Released Persons (DINALI).
Additionally, since August 2025 she has been coeditor of The Legal Industry Review (Uruguay), where she writes the editorial column, along with coordinating other contents, such as expert pieces, and arranging interviews, contributing actively to the visibility of the country’s legal and business community.
