FERRERE’s regional Corporate and M&A team advised multinational Apex Logistics on the acquisition of a majority stake in Andes Integración Logística.
The agreement, signed at the end of 2025 and subject to approval by the pertinent authorities, will allow Apex to fully access Andes’ operation in the different countries of the region (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay), with a regional network of storage, multimodal transport and port logistics assets.
In addition to reinforcing its presence in Latin America, the agreement will allow Apex Logistics to expand its capacity to offer specialized solutions, particularly in cold chain logistics and transportation of perishables.
FERRERE’s advice entailed collaboration among our offices in Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay, and coordination with Cariola (Chile). The involvement covered all stages of the process, including the due diligence of the target companies, advice on regulatory and antitrust authorizations, and support on drafting and negotiating the transaction documents.
Participating in the advice were partners Diego Villarroel, Santiago Rodríguez, Carlos Vasconsellos, Geraldine Ifrán and Verónica Franco, along with the practitioners Jorge Palza, Claudia Arietti, Cristina Vignone, Alejandro Alterwain, Carlos Barroso, Estefanía Baranski, Laura Caffera and María Eugenia Gitto.
