Cristina Vignone is a member of FERRERE’s Corporate and Commercial and Administrative and Regulatory practice groups. Her professional practice also involves Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as energy market issues.

For over eight years Cristina Vignone advised ExxonMobil’s downstream affiliate in Uruguay, until the company transferred its operation to another investor. Over this time she supported her client on corporate issues and administrative and regulatory matters with ANCAP (state-owned oil company) and URSEA (energy regulatory and control agency).

Her clients also include companies in the areas of construction (Ingener and TYPSA) and technology (IBM del Uruguay), whom she advises on negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements and participation in government tenders.

She has led various legal due diligence procedures for purchases, investments and sale of companies.

She was also an instructor for several years in Civil Private Law (Obligations and Contracts) at the Law School of Universidad de la República (Uruguay) and taught courses in Company Law at Universidad ORT (Uruguay).
