FERRERE has announced that Guillermo Jover has rejoined the firm as partner at its Paraguay office, as of January 1, 2026. This marks a new stage in his path with the firm, where he was a partner until 2016 and was reincorporated in 2021 as counsel. With this appointment, FERRERE strengthens key areas of its practice in the country, including corporate and finance, investment projects, real estate, environmental law and compliance.

Guillermo has over 15 years of experience advising financial institutions, multinational companies and multilateral organizations on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and asset purchases in both Paraguay and the United States. His practice focuses on structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements, investment projects and regulatory compliance, with special emphasis on environmental law and sustainable financing. He also leads the firm’s real estate law practice in Paraguay, advising on large scale infrastructure projects and urban developments.

He earned his degree as attorney from Universidad Americana (Paraguay) and as Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Virginia (United States), and formerly worked as associate at the Miami office of White & Case LLP.
