FERRERE advised its long-time client, the technological multinational IBM, in the context of the global spin-off of its Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS) into a new publicly traded company called Kyndryl. Transfers closed in each of the countries on September 1, 2021.
FERRERE, along with law firms in several other jurisdictions, as well as the IBM legal team, advised on corporate, contract, labor, regulatory and tax aspects involved in the creation of a new vehicle in the country and transfer of IBM’s MIS business to the new company.
