Isabel Hounie

Isabel Hounie has broad experience in tax advice and tax due diligence procedures in connection with M&A transactions.

Isabel Hounie is a member of FERRERE’s Tax team. She has broad experience providing tax advice to local and foreign companies, as well as in tax due diligence procedures in connection with mergers and acquisitions.

She collaborates with the FERRERE Project Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions teams, participating on very significant corporate transactions in Uruguay, such as the acquisition of Shell Uruguay by Petrobras and the acquisition of Neutral Free Shop by JH Partners, among others.

She has been a speaker at the Uruguayan Tax Studies Institute and at the 2nd IFA Latin American Regional Tax Congress in Buenos Aires in 2010, and is a lecturer in the Department of Taxes at Universidad ORT (Uruguay).
