FERRERE advised CAF and Fondo II CAF-AM (the “Lenders”) on financing of the Circuit 2 PPP Project, whose purpose is the design, construction, operation and financing of highway infrastructure for Route No. 9, Route No. 15, and the Route No. 9 – Route No. 15 Bypass (the “Project”).

The Project is located at a vital point for the country’s development, in the Department of Rocha, bordering on Brazil, and playing a key role for exports by land.

FERRERE’s work included, among other aspects, advice to the Lenders during negotiation of the PPP Contract and its addenda with the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works (MTOP), as well as the analysis of the Project’s bankability, for negotiating and drafting the financing documents.

FERRERE assumed leadership in the negotiation and drafting of the guarantee documents and direct agreements, as well as the project documents (EPC and O&M Contracts).

FERRERE’s advice was headed up by the partner Sebastián Ramos and the associates Tania Cavallo and Lucía Rosso, along with a broad team of practitioners, including Ana Laura Oliveros, María Paula Uhalde, Agustina Pérez Lete, María Eugenia Gitto and María Victoria Costa.
