FERRERE worked with Paraguay Sin Basura on its formal legal organization. The firm’s experience was applied to offering comprehensive legal advice aimed at guarantying a solid legal framework to support the foundation’s mission to achieve a cleaner, greener Paraguay. This action, in addition to contributing to the community and impacting future generations, is in sync with FERRERE’s values and commitment to sustainability.
The process led to approval by Executive Decree authorizing creation of the foundation, its filing with the General Office of Legal Entities and Structures and Ultimate Beneficiaries, as well as with Public Registries, along with obtaining the administrative authorizations necessary for its formal startup. In this context, some fifty documents were processed with different institutions, including the General Office of Public Registries, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Office of the President of Paraguay.
Finally, on May 9, 2025, a fundamental milestone was achieved: official issuance of a taxpayer identification number, marking completion of the foundation’s legal incorporation, but also the start of a new chapter for Paraguay Sin Basura, now operating as a formally recognized entity, prepared to foster significant actions toward a cleaner, fairer and sustainable country.
The FERRERE team was led by the partner Carlos Vasconsellos, together with a team including the following practitioners: Estefanía Baranski, Erika Giménez, Gianella Colman and Mauricio Vaceque.
