FERRERE accompanied Interfisa Banco S.A.E.C.A. on achieving an agreement for acquisition of the share package of Río Seguros S.A., subject to prior authorization by the Superintendency of Insurance of the Central Bank of Paraguay (BCP). Upon approval by the regulator, the transaction will mean Interfisa Banco’s total acquisition of the insurance company.
The FERRERE team provided comprehensive advice on structuring and negotiating the instruments to achieve the acquisition commitment. In parallel, FERRERE continues assisting Interfisa Banco on regulatory procedures with the Superintendency of Insurance, to obtain the pertinent authorizations.
This is a relevant transaction for the insurance market and for the country, with a new actor who will bring a renewed take on the sector, with a focus on innovation, operating efficiency and sustainability.
