The loan agreement was executed on 27 October, and will be destined to a programme which will support the transmission and distribution network for the interconnection system of the National Administration of Electricity (ANDE).
According to Ferrere Abogados partner Nestor Loizaga, the principal legal challenge posed by the transaction was ensuring that the process by which the Paraguayan government would grant its sovereign guarantee was made clear.
