Manfred Heyn is a member of the Corporate team at FERRERE Paraguay. His practice focuses on matters related to arbitration, commercial agreements, tax advice and comprehensive assistance on financing transactions, with emphasis in the areas of banking and finance and capital markets. In this context he advises local and foreign public and private entities in diverse sectors, and financial multilaterals.
He focuses primarily on design and structuring of financing, including loan transactions, share and bond deals, and securities structuring processes, among others. He also handles drafting of complex deal agreements and general advice to clients. He also represents clients in contract disputes.
He also represents clients in litigious matters, in local administrative and judicial processes, as well as in local and international arbitrations, and has experience working at Ferrere’s offices in Asunción and Montevideo.
Before joining FERRERE, Manfred held various public service positions, both in the Judiciary and the Executive branches. From 2012 to 2013 he was Cabinet Director to the Vice Minister for Youth, where he provided advice on legal issues and drafted and analyzed bills of law.
