He advises on matters related to commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, debt restructuring, and securities offerings in local and foreign securities markets.

Manfred has advised financial institutions such as Citibank, Bank of America, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Itaú BBA, BBVA Securities, Santander, BNP Paribas, FMO, Rabobank, DEG, CAF Latin American Development Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, as well as multinational companies such as Roche, Grupo Bimbo, Unilever, Marriott, and Cargill.

Between 2019 and 2021, he worked as an international lawyer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he was involved in high-profile cross-border corporate and financial transactions in Latin America, including debt issuances and restructurings, representing sovereigns and private entities.

Before joining FERRERE, Manfred held various positions in public service, both in the Judiciary and in the Executive Branch of the Paraguayan government.
