Fernanda Benítez

Fernanda Benítez is a member of FERRERE’s Corporate and Competition teams in Paraguay.

Her practice focuses on competition and antitrust law and M&A transactions, advising clients on merger control, potential anticompetitive practices, equity investments, mergers, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.

Fernanda has participated in complex and high-profile local and cross-border transactions across a range of industries. Her experience includes advising on significant M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations and strategic investments involving multinational and local companies, particularly in the financial, agribusiness, logistics and industrial sectors.

Fernanda has also been actively involved in the development of FERRERE’s local competition practice and regularly advises international and local clients on complex merger control matters. 

Her experience includes advising MSC Group on several transactions across the logistics and port sectors, Camil Alimentos on its acquisition of Villa Oliva Rice, and Syngenta on merger control matters in the agribusiness sector, among other high-profile transactions. She also regularly advises corporate clients on the assessment and prevention of potential anticompetitive practices arising from commercial arrangements and business strategies.

Her combined competition and corporate experience allows her to bring an integrated and practical perspective to complex transactions and regulatory matters, considering their legal implications alongside their broader corporate and commercial context.
