His professional practice focuses on tax advice to local and foreign entities, covering both analysis of tax rules as well as structuring of tax and corporate planning solutions.
He participates actively in preparing technical reports, addressing complex queries, and accompanying clients on tax compliance processes.
He also has experience in representing taxpayers in inspections and in administrative and jurisdictional proceedings on tax and administrative matters. His practice is complemented by advice on Administrative and Regulatory Law, Compliance, Environmental Law and Corporate Law, with special attention to the interaction between tax rules and sector-specific regulatory frameworks.
In recent years he has provided counsel on inspections and regulatory compliance by companies in the financial sector, technology, the oil, gas and energy industry, entertainment and sports, and logistics, among others. He has also advised individuals on taxation, tax residence, tax holiday, and general tax planning.
He is currently completing a Master’s in Tax with specialization in Tax Planning at the School of Economics and Administration of Universidad de la República (Uruguay). He is a member of the Uruguayan Tax Studies Institute and of the International Fiscal Association. He has published articles on tax matters in technical reviews. He attended, as listener, the Course in Financial Law II given by Andrés Blanco, and participates regularly in academic events and specialized seminars. He is a member of the Uruguayan team for the YIN IFA Challenge 2026.
