FERRERE has been shortlisted once again in the 2026 edition of the Women in Business Law Awards (WIBL), which recognize the top women lawyers in diverse practice areas at regional level, as well as the leading firms in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
FERRERE has obtained a total of seven nominations:
- Uruguay Firm of the Year
- Bolivia Firm of the Year
- Antitrust/Competition Lawyer of the Year in Latin America: Verónica Franco
- Insurance and Reinsurance Lawyer of the Year in Latin America: Geraldine Ifrán
- Intellectual Property Lawyer of the Year in Latin America: Montserrat Puente
- Corporate/M&A Rising Star: Clara Porro
- Arbitration Rising Star: Raquel Molina
The awards are organized by the important Legal Benchmarking Group, which brings together several of the top international publications, such as International Financial Law Review (IFLR), International Tax Review (ITR) and Managing IP. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in New York on May 28.
