FERRERE advised EF Asset Management, in its capacity as Trustee of the Fideicomiso Financiero Campiglia financial trust, on acquisition of the vehicle Cepheus S.A., which until then had been owned by Campiglia Construcciones and Ernesto Kimelman.

The transaction, which closed on July 19, was for a total of USD 34 million.

Cepheus S.A. is the owner of land in the area of the World Trade Center (Montevideo), where Kimelman was the chief architect. The acquisition was made to undertake the “Platinum” real estate mega-project, encompassing offices, commercial spaces and residences.

FERRERE’s advice was led by Geraldine Ifrán (partner) along with Carla Arellano and Cristina Vignone (counsels) and Walter Planells, Diego Durán and Valentín Reyes (associates), among other members of the firm.
