FERRERE advised Itaú (“Itaú”) on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Providencia S.A. de Seguros, a local insurance company, to expand its line of business in Paraguay.
FERRERE assisted Itaú on the due diligence process and on all transaction aspects related to Paraguayan laws and regulatory matters connected with the purchase of the shares. Furthermore, FERRERE was in charge of coordinating the closing of the transaction.
