FERRERE Ecuador advised Orion Energy’s subsidiaries in Ecuador to obtain the operatorship of two oil blocks in Ecuador.
On July 2014, Orion Energy acquired a participation interest for Blocks 52 and 54 of the Ecuadorian amazon region. Today Orion’s subsidiaries have obtained operatorship, which will result in the enhancement of its operatorship credentials.
On September 8, 2015, the Secretariat of Hydrocarbons executed with Orion’s Ecuadorian representative the amending agreement to both Exploration and Exploration Service Contracts for Blocks 52 and 54. Orion continues to invest in Ecuador seeking to develop the aforesaid oil fields.
