Nicolás Espino Conti

Nicolás Espino specializes in Administrative and Regulatory Law.

Nicolás Espino has been a member of FERRERE since 2018. Currently, he is part of the firm's Intellectual Property, Pharmaceutical and Food team.

His professional experience is based on advising companies in regulatory queries and planning strategies for the defense of their interests before state authorities, by responding to motions granted, filing administrative appeals and actions for annulment of administrative acts before the Court of Administrative Disputes.

His experience in the firm has allowed him to deal with the local regulatory analysis of diverse industries, mainly in food, health, transportation and telecommunications.

Nicolás also has experience in the drafting and review of commercial contracts, and in aspects related to antitrust and consumer law. In that sense, he actively participates in complaints and administrative investigations for possible anti-competitive practices in the Uruguayan market and advises companies on aspects such as the offering of their products and services to end consumers, commercial promotions, advertising, among others.

As part of the firm's professional development program, he was part of FERRERE's Litigation and Arbitration team, strengthening his practice in the resolution of judicial proceedings and out-of-court negotiations. He was also part of the Corporate team, collaborating with clients in recurring corporate aspects of their operations.
