Cristina Muñoz

Cristina Muñoz is an expert in litigation and has accrued extensive experience in advising local and multinational companies on Labor Law matters.

Since she joined FERRERE in 2007, Cristina Muñoz is a member of the team of the firm’s Tacuarembó office (Uruguay) covering all issues of the Center, North and West of the country. She also collaborates with the firm’s Labor and Social Security department in Montevideo.

For over ten years her practice has focused on litigation, but she has also garnered significant experience in consultancy for local and multinational companies on labor law matters. In recent years she has participated in collective bargaining processes and has advised companies on outsourcing contracts in different areas of activity, including agribusinesses.

She’s also an advisor for companies based on the North border of the country that operate under the Duty Free regime.

She has published several articles about labor law applicable to different sectors, especially rural activities and forestry.

She participates in activities organized by the Judicial Studies Center of Uruguay in the departments of Rivera and Tacuarembó.
