In 2019 SENACLAFT and the National Sports Secretariat (SND) signed a cooperation agreement for oversight of nonprofit organizations in connection with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing efforts.

The two agencies have been working for several months on a bill of law to include Sports Corporations in the group of reporting entities under the law for prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. While the bill has not yet been made public for consideration, it can be expected to give the same treatment to Sports Corporations as for other nonprofit organizations subject to SENACLAFT supervision.
