The Specific Instructions for Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs), with an Approach Based on Risk Management against Money Laundering (ML/FT), Financing of Terrorism (FT) and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (FPADM) (hereinafter "the Instructions for DNFBPs") were approved by Administrative Resolution No. FIU/25/2023 on April 14, 2023.
Its objective is to establish prevention measures for ML/FT Risk Management and FPADM for DNFBPs and its application reaches companies with real estate activity and companies with legal or accounting activities, both qualified as large taxpayers. Non-large taxpayers and notaries public are excluded.
