Antonella Falero

Antonella is a member of the Intellectual Property team.

Her practice area includes advising local and foreign companies, as well as individuals, on implementation of strategies related to industrial property and copyright protection.

Her activity includes managing trademark portfolios, filing and managing industrial property contracts, and corporate advice for evaluating, drafting and negotiating agreements, transfers and licenses, as well as representation in administrative and litigious matters.

Her main tasks are: filing and tracking trademark applications in Uruguay and abroad; legal actions for annulment before the Administrative Claims Court; local and international trademark monitoring; representation in oppositions, actions for challenge, annulment and cancellation for nonuse; filing of transfers, name changes, domicile changes; trademark infringement protection; drafting and filing of applications for patents on inventions and utility models and applications for registering industrial designs; defense of applications, filing of administrative appeals and actions for annulment with the Administrative Claims Court; filing and renewals of domains; advice and negotiations on transfers; filing and tracking of applications for copyright registration with the National Library and/or abroad; negotiation, drafting and filing of copyright assignments with the National Library.
