On December 15, 2022, Uruguay, represented by Dr. Jorge Chediak, National Secretary of the National Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Secretariat (SENACLAFT), the National Coordinator with GAFILAT, assumed the presidency pro tempore of the regional group for the 2023 year.
