The Specific Instructions for Regulated Entities in the Application of the United Nations´ Security Council Resolutions (hereinafter, "the Instructions") were approved by Administrative Resolution No. UIF/26/2023 on April 14, 2023 considering the United Nations Charter, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of the States part of the Financial Action Task Force of South America (GAFISUD), the Regime for Freezing of Funds and other Assets of Persons Linked to Terrorism and Financing of Terrorism, the Financial Services Law and Supreme Decrees N° 1553, N° 4904 and N° 4906 referring to the measures for Freezing and Unfreezing of Funds and other Assets.
These Instruction establish the rules for the Application of Procedures for the Preventive Freezing and Unfreezing of Funds and Other Assets of persons and entities linked to Terrorism, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction nominated in lists of the United Nations´ Security Council or in requirements of countries of International Cooperation.
