On March 24, 2023, the Secretariat for the Prevention of Money and Asset Laundering (SEPRELAD) issued Resolution Number 88/2023, through which it approved the procedures and requirements to register for the Integral Operations Report System (SIRO) applicable to obligated subjects that carry out activities associated with virtual assets, defined as a digital representation of value that can be commercialized o transferred digitally and can be used to make payments or investments. The resolution exhorts said obligated subjects to register (or re-register) before SEPRELAD through SIRO.
