According to a survey conducted by Pro Universitarios of over 2,000 students at all Uruguayan universities, FERRERE took third place in the "Dream Firm" ranking. The classification reflects the opinion of university students aged 18 to 26 who have a company they dream about working for. The international corporation Google and the state-owned telecom Antel are in first and second place, respectively, in the ranking.

When choosing the firm of their dream, what students look for most is the fostering of learning and professional development (43%), followed by possibilities for professional achievement and doing something they like within the organization (39%).

What survey participants hope for most in their careers is the chance to gain international experience. Among other aspects, they also mention the possibility of working on innovative projects and holding leadership positions.

Students say they have learned of these firms because they know someone who works or worked there, because they saw information in the mass media, and, thirdly, because of the organization’s social, cultural or environmental initiatives.

These data are reflected in a Pro Universitarios online survey of undergraduate, graduate and technical degree program students, at all Uruguayan universities. The field work was performed between July 28 and August 10, 2015. Click here to read more about this study.
