FERRERE’s Uruguay team advised Nordex on obtaining refinancing, with the addition of USD 200 million to an existing loan.

The new agreement modified a current line of credit for USD 1.4 billion, originally issued in April 2020, increasing it to USD 1.6 billion. The refinancing, which closed on August 11, also extended the maturity date of the credit line and modified other general aspects.

Along with FERRERE, Nordex retained Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP for international advice, as well as other regional firms for the transaction: Marval O'Farrell Mairal (Argentina), Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados (Brazil), Larraín y Asociados (Chile), and González-Calvillo, SC (Mexico).

FERRERE’s advice was led by the partner Sebastián Ramos and included a large team of practitioners, with Federico Lemos, Tania Cavallo y Lucía Rosso standing out among them.
