Law 19.749 for prevention of terrorism financing and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction was passed on May 15, 2019, followed by its regulatory Decree 136/019 approved on May 16, 2019.
The Law and the Decree consolidate and update anti-terrorism financing legislation and the application of financial penalties against persons and entities related to terrorism, its financing, and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
