Due to the advance of COVID-19 in Bolivia, the government has declared a national health emergency and total quarantine in all the Bolivian territory through the Supreme Decree Nº 4199/2020. By virtue of the same, as of March 22, 2020, all public and private institutions are closed until April 5, 2020.
In this understanding, the National Intellectual Property Service has closed its doors; therefore, all procedures are suspended, new applications cannot be presented, and inquiries regarding pending processes cannot be made.
