His practice focuses on advising local and international clients on contract matters, as well as on company acquisitions and sales. He is involved in all process stages, including due diligence, document preparation, and deal closing.
He also works with clients in different activity sectors, including retail, financial, food and beverage, among others, on regulatory matters and day-to-day operations.
He has participated recently in the following transactions:
- Grupo de Narváez (GDN) and IDB Invest on the sale of Ta-Ta (supermarket chain), San Roque (pharmacy network), BAS (garment retailer), MultiAhorro Hogar (household items) and Frontoy (wholesale store) to the Paraguayan group Vierci.
- Millicom on the purchase of Telefónica Uruguay.
- Navios South American Logistics on a USD 400 million bond issuance.
Sebastián has experience in dispute resolution, where he was a member of the FERRERE team that won the first Uruguayan Arbitration Competition, organized by the Commercial Defense League (LIDECO) and the Uruguayan Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados del Uruguay - CAU).
He earned his degree as attorney from the law school of Universidad de la República (Uruguay) in 2024.
