The Government through Supreme Decree No. 4229 promulgated on April 29, 2020, extended the quarantine until May 31 in a dynamic and conditioned manner, arranged within the framework of the declaration of sanitary emergency established throughout the territory of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

To this effect and regarding the suspension of deadlines and attention of the Judicial Body, the following measures have been determined:

The suspension of activities until May 10, 2020. After this date, the established measures will be applied according to the conditions and risk in each of the departments and municipalities.

The suspension of procedural deadlines. This suspension will be only applied while the exceptional status of declaration of quarantine is in force. Also, all legal expiration and prescription deadlines are suspended.

The Plurinational Constitutional Court decided to continue with the drawing of the cases in the tutelary actions and re-enabled the Judicial Mailbox for the presentation of actions, claims or resources before this instance.
