Colombia’s Brigard & Urrutia Abogados and Clifford Chance LLP in Paris and Amsterdam have helped Dutch leather company Stahl close the Colombian leg of its global acquisition of the leather services businesses of Swiss specialty chemicals company Clariant.
The deal closed on 30 April. Clariant was advised by Posse Herrera Ruiz in Colombia, as well as the Paris and Frankfurt offices of White & Case LLP and Swiss firm Homburger.
Earlier in the year Latin Lawyer reported on the Uruguayan leg of the deal, which closed last December and saw Stahl turn to FERRERE for local counsel.
