Latin Lawyer announced the winners in 11 categories of its 16th annual Deal of the Year Awards 2021, at an event held in Sao Paulo.
FERRERE was distinguished for one of the winning cases in the Mergers and Acquisitions (private) category, for having advised the Brazilian unicorn Quinto Andar on acquisition of Navent Group, the proptech operator present in various countries.
The multi-jurisdiction acquisition involved other law firms from Mexico, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Panama, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela.
FERRERE’s role focused on the due diligence process and on advice on Uruguayan legal aspects of the acquisition.
FERRERE’s work was led by the partner Martín Cerruti along with a broad team of senior associates, including Clara Porro, Florencia Fitipaldo, Carolina Piacenza and María Maiorano.
