Following the opening of its office in Ecuador this year, along with its already consolidated operations in Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay, the firm now totals a team of 200 attorneys.
The award was presented in a gala held last Friday, September 25, at Miami’s Fontainebleau Hotel, an event that annually brings together over 150 renowned professionals from the Latin American legal community. This recognition follows winning the Uruguayan Law Firm of the Year Award by International Financial Law Review (IFLR). FERRERE is also the only Uruguayan firm ranked in Band 1 in all practice areas, by both Chambers and Legal 500, another distinguished law firm guide.
Beyond its leadership in the local market, FERRERE has become one of the three largest firms in Spanish-speaking Latin America, after opening its Ecuador office in April of this year with more than 30 attorneys. In Bolivia it is one of the two largest corporate firms in the market, while in Paraguay it is among the top four.
