Cadonal (a company of group Abengoa) will construct Talas de Maciel II, in Cerro Colorado, Flores.
Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF) as lender and arranger, and DNB Group Agencia en Chile as arranger, granted financing for up to USD 90,100,000 to Cadonal S.A., a company of Spanish engineering group Abengoa, for the construction and operation of a 50 MW greenfield wind farm named Talas de Maciel II, located in Cerro Colorado in the Department of Flores, Uruguay.
This project is the second one being undertaken by the Abengoa engineering group in Uruguay. The first one is being developed by Palmatir S.A. FERRERE also acted as counsel for the Lenders (Export-Import Bank of the United States and the Inter-American Development Bank) in the financing of the Palmatir wind farm.
