FERRERE advised Enercon Gmbh in the negotiation and execution of a 50 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Uruguayan electric utility (UTE).

In 2012, Ladaner was awarded the right to build and operate a Wind Farm located in Cerro Grande, in Melo province, in one of several bid rounds organized by UTE. In 2013 German turbine manufacturer, Enercon, acquired Ladaner, becoming its sole shareholder. Enercon Gmbh will be the provider of the wind turbines.

This PPA helps to consolidate Enercon´s business plan in Uruguay since the company is also developing two Wind Farms in Tacuarembó province with an output of 100MW.
