FERRERE advised Agroenfoque S.A., a Uruguayan company created in 2002 and devoted to importing and local production of farm inputs for the domestic and foreign markets, on the sale of 70% of its shares to IBF I, a local investment fund.

The acquisition aims to ensure the company’s continuance and growth, as well as local and international consolidation of the brand.

As part of the agreement, José Luis Orrico, founder of Agroenfoque, will retain the real estate assets related to the business, along with the remaining 30% of shares.

FERRERE’s work, led by senior associate Alejandra García, involved advice to the seller on the preliminary documents, on the due diligence, and on all the deal’s closing documentation.
