Terrafertil is a company founded in Ecuador in 2005 with presence in South America (Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile), United Kingdom, United States and Mexico.
FERRERE lead the regional LATAM team in all matters involved in the transaction, including but not limited to coordinating over eight jurisdictions in tax planning.
The transaction is the largest M&A in Ecuador and the largest M&A in the industry of wellness products in the region as well as the most relevant worldwide for this segment of wellness products. It involved the following jurisdictions: Switzerland, US, UK, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile.
Nestlé has provided huge relevance to the deal due to the importance of this transaction for the accomplishment of the new focus of Nestlé upon healthy foods.
