Senior associate Bolívar Figueroa presented his technical comments on the procedural reforms of the General Code of Procedure (COGEP), in the context of the 2nd Contemporary Tax Symposium (Conversatorio de Tributación Contemporánea). The event was organized by the Ecuadorian Tax Law Institute (IEDT) and Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (UASB) on July 25, 2019.
The panel for the event consisted of Dr. Yolanda Yupanqui, Marco Albán Zamboni and Carmen Simone Lasso, and had the participation of tax practitioners and academics and IEDT members.
The symposium was held in homage to the 60th Anniversary of the Tax Court, in defense of the justice area specializing in tax matters.
