Latin Lawyer, the prestigious British publication specializing in law firms, named FERRERE’s managing partner Andrés Cerisola as 2016 Latin American “Law Firm Leader of the Year.” The award is recognition of the firm’s successful international expansion. The recent opening of offices in Ecuador, along with those already existing in Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia, positioned the firm as one of the three largest in Spanish-speaking Latin America.

With an expansion strategy launched over a decade ago, FERRERE Abogados has a platform comprising more than 200 attorneys in four jurisdictions, with a total of 800 members in the full FERRERE group.

As recognition of his leadership, Cerisola received the Latin Lawyer award in a ceremony that took place on March 17, at São Paulo’s Hotel Unique, with attendance of representatives of some one hundred of the continent’s most prestigious law firms. On the same occasion, FERRERE’s Ecuador office received the Deal of the Year award, in the Regulatory category.
