Tania Cavallo

Tania Cavallo is a member of the Banking and Finance department at FERRERE. Her practice focuses on PPP projects and corporate and commercial matters.  

As part of her regular practice she counsels local and international organizations such as banks and other financial institutions on the financing of local projects. She provides advice in relation to highway and education infrastructure PPP projects on  structuring financing and negotiating the relevant documents.

She has participated in numerous due diligence processes in the context of both project finance and high-profile mergers.

Before joining FERRERE she was an associate with one of Uruguay’s major law firms, advising local and international companies on multiple legal matters, company law and regulatory aspects, as well as on the development of projects in different industries, with special focus on the energy and renewable resources sector and large-scale hotel ventures.

She has contributed to publications on oil and gas ownership regulations in Uruguay, including “General Structure of Petroleum Ownership and Regulation” published by Chambers Guide – Energy: Oil and Gas (2016).
