Pablo Ordonez leads FERRERE’s tax practice in Bolivia. He is a specialist in tax, with lengthy international commodities experience, including mining and oil and gas, litigation, and Administrative and Constitutional Law.
Prior to joining FERRERE, he spent the bulk of his professional career in Europe as in-house tax adviser at Telefonica and at Repsol, where he ultimately led the tax advice and litigation practice in Bolivia. He is member of the National Bar Association of Bolivia, the International Bar Association (IBA) the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He holds a law degree from Universidad Católica Boliviana and a master’s degree in taxation from Centro de Estudios Garrigues (Madrid, Spain). He additionally holds a comparative tax policy and administration postgraduate degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Business (Cambridge, USA).
