Mattias Garrón

Mattias Garrón advises Bolivian and international companies on corporate issues, as well as on project development, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign investment.

Mattias Garrón is a member of the FERRERE´s Corporate and Regulatory Practice Groups in Bolivia.

His practice focuses on advising Bolivian and international companies with respect to corporate matters, as well as project development, mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment. At the same time, he has significant experience in commercial matters, having advised clients, of virtually all industries, regarding their commercial relationships.

In parallel, he has significant experience in administrative and regulatory matters, having held important positions in the public administration, overseeing matters such as antitrust, corporate governance, corporate restructuring as well as Telecommunications and Transportation.

Prior to joining FERRERE, Mattias worked at Airbus Group in Spain. He also worked in the energy sector as legal advisor of AIR BP. In his most recent position, he was head of legal analysis Unit at the Attorney General´s Office.

Garrón obtained his law degree from the Universidad Católica Boliviana, in La Paz, and a Masters in Business Law from Universidad Carlos III, in Madrid, Spain.

He also obtained postgraduate degrees from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universidad del Valle.

FERRERE assisted Minera Alcira on production agreement with Bolivia

Minera Alcira S.A. signed a mining production agreement with the Bolivian state-owned mining company Comibol and the Ministry of Mining and Metallurgy to produce polymetallic silver in the department of Potosí, in southern Bolivia.
