César Benítez

César Benítez is a specialist in commercial, civil and administrative disputes. He also has broad experience in Consumer Law and Intellectual Property matters.

César Benítez is a member of the FERRERE Paraguay Litigation Department.  He holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property and is a specialist in Consumer Law. 

Before joining FERRERE he worked for seven years in the Judiciary (2009-2016), holding posts at the three jurisdictional levels, first with the Ninth Civil and Commercial Court of Asunción, then with the Sixth Civil and Commercial Appeals Court of Asunción, and finally at the Supreme Court of Justice, where he handled litigation in connection with administrative claims and matters in conjunction with the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice.

He was also a member of the Supreme Court Committee for Electronic Judicial File Development and Implementation, for which he prepared the Civil and Commercial processes flowchart.

He likewise collaborated with the Supreme Court’s Intellectual Property Office and its Judicial Studies Center, on the drafting of papers on Intellectual Property.

In the Consumer Law area his practice focuses on advice to major companies including Unicomer, Bimbo, GAP, Nissan, Groupe Seb and Unilever, among others.
