·         Decision of the CSJ in Extraordinary Plenary: enabled the Civil and Commercial Courts of Appeal in The Civil and Commercial Turn from 08:00 to 11:00 hours to receive notarial documents for rubric.

April 7

 

·         Resolution No. 1373 from the CSJ: resolves to resume the judicial activity that will be governed by this agreement until June 14, 2020. This period may be modified according to the decisions of the Central Government and the recommendations of the MSPBS or not enter into force in case the Central Government prolongs the restrictions current to public and private activities. The more important points are:

-          Resume the procedural, registration and administrative deadlines from April 13, 2020.

-          A staggered schedule is established for the entry and exit of officials, magistrates and personnel of the Judiciary.

-          The Technology and Communications Department with the magistrates will arbitrate the necessary mechanisms in order to carry out the hearings remotely.

-          Mechanisms such as: the presence of two people through a window, setting a meter of distance between the people in the lines, authorization to take photographs of the judicial proceedings in order to expedite the review of the file will be applied. Likewise, the authorization to the actuaries to send photographs of the latest actions in the file at the request of professionals.

-          Avoid carrying out procedures that involve the transfer of officials, except in cases that are necessary for the continuation of the trial or the issuance of court decisions.

-          The hearings and procedures that must be carried out in person may be carried out through telematic means.

April 18

 

·         Resolution of the Presidency of the CSJ: established

-          Modify the validity of the Resolution No. 1373 from the CSJ, establishing that it will take effect from Monday, April 27 to June 28, 2020.

-          Resume procedural, registration and administrative deadlines from Monday, April 27.

-          To extend the provisions of Resolution No. 1336 and 1370 until Sunday, April 26.

April 25

 

·         Resolution of the Presidency of the CSJ

ü  The entry into force of resolution N°1373 is suspended until Monday, May 4th.

ü  Provisions disposed in resolutions 1366 and 1370 are extended until Sunday, May 3rd.

April 29

·       Resolution No. 1381 from the CSJ: Modifies the Resolution No. 1373. The judicial activity will be governed by this Resolution from May 4th until August 2nd, 2020. This period may be modified according to the decisions of the Central Government and the recommendations of the MSPBS or not come into effect if the Central Government prolongs the current restrictions on public and private activities.

-       Resume procedural, registration and administrative deadlines as detailed below:

a.     May 4th, 2020: registration deadlines and procedural deadlines of the trials processed before the Chambers of the Supreme Court of Justice, Courts of Appeal, Courts of Administrative Litigation, Justice of the Peace Courts, General Directorate of Court Statistics and State Audit Court.

b.     May 18th, 2020: procedural deadlines of trials processed before Courts of First Instance, the General Accounting Office, the Jurisdictional Reception Desk and the General Directorate of Constitutional Guarantees, Auctions and Judicial Experts

c.     June 1st, 2020: administrative deadlines

Extend the validity of the justice services established in Resolutions Nos. 1366 and 1370 of 2020 until May 17th, 2020 for the Courts of First Instance.
